Learning should be
thoughtful—and usable.
I’m Sanda Valcu, an educator and learning designer with more than 25 years of experience across K–12 and higher education.

From teaching learners to designing what helps them learn.
My background includes ESL teaching, faculty support, program leadership and multilingual education. I hold a master’s degree in TESOL.
I know the work behind a useful lesson: identifying the real demand, making language visible, choosing support carefully and looking for evidence of understanding.
I also enjoy the creation work behind effective training—turning a body of knowledge into a sequence that people can follow, practice and use.
That is the connection between my two offers: CODE for education teams and Workshop Ready for consultants and training businesses.
Clear purpose. Careful design. Respect for people.
Begin with the learner
What does this person need to understand or do? What might make the task difficult to access?
Make each piece useful
A slide, prompt or worksheet should serve a learning purpose. More content is not automatically more help.
Keep judgment human
AI can help draft and organize. Accuracy, instructional decisions and final quality need professional review.
